What is the School Directory?
Our school directory is managed by the PTO and is now hosted on Directory Spot, which gives parents secure, password-protected access from both desktop and mobile. You can quickly search by student, family, or grade. Having your family listed ensures you stay connected and don’t miss out on important updates and opportunities to get involved.
How Do I get Access?
If you have opted to participate in the school based “Family Contact List”, then you will be included in the directory, and will be given access. If you have opted out of this you will not be included in the Directory and will not be granted access to it.
In aspen this option is included on the permissions tab of the back to school forms. Specifically it is listed as: “Do you wish to participate in a school based “Family Contact List” which will be distributed to families within your student’s school? By default a family contact list will contain the student’s name, grade, classroom and the contact information listed under primary Parent/Guardian”
How to Log In
Your login to DirectorySpot will be the Primary email address entered in Aspen. You will receive an email directly from DirectorySpot with login instructions. If you can’t remember your login credentials or don’t know if you have an account, simply access the login page and click Reset Password and follow the prompts.
Login Problems?
The welcome email will be sent directly from DirectorySpot. If you are unable to login, please send an email including your full name and student name(s) to pto@sanbornpto.net. The email associated to your account is the primary email in your aspen account.
Need to update your information?
All information provided to populate the directory is shared directly from Aspen with the PTO. If you wish to have your information updated, please fill out the request form linked below (we will also ask you to update the information in Aspen). Please note that these requests take 1-3 weeks to process.

Transparency
We pledge to provide information on PTO expenses and sources of income, and to be clear when an event or program is a fundraising opportunity. For example, did you know that after instructors are compensated, Explorations is a fundraiser for the PTO? So, thank you for enrolling!
Responsibility
The Sanborn PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization, so it is our responsibility to spend down the funds we raise each year while carrying forward a small “rainy day” fund for leaner times.
Predictability
We seek to establish a predictable cycle of fundraising. This will include a few larger fundraising events and smaller “passive” fundraisers. This will help all of us know what to expect!
Engagement
Did you know you can give directly to the PTO, any time of year and any gift size, and make a tremendous difference for the Sanborn experience? A $20 gift provides field trip bus transportation for 4 students; a $100 gift buys cushions and flexible seating for a first grade classroom; a $500 gift brings an enrichment program for the entire third grade.
