Sanborn Playground Renovation Fundraiser

Thank you for supporting our playground!

One of the biggest accomplishments of this school year was the incredible progress made toward the new Sanborn playground project. At the start of the year, the PTO was challenged to raise $50,000 to support the project, alongside the Town of Andover’s $650,000 commitment and the Ritzer family’s initial $100,000 donation.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Sanborn community, we are thrilled to share that the PTO has committed $75,000 toward the playground—exceeding our original goal by $25,000. In addition, the Ritzer family increased its contribution to an extraordinary $160,000, allowing additional features to be included in Phase 1 of the project.

Exceeding our fundraising goal has also enabled the PTO to reserve funds for future enhancements to Phase 1 or to serve as a foundation for Phase 2 of the playground.

This milestone would not have been possible without the incredible support of our families, staff, local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and community members who donated, attended events, and championed this project throughout the year. Thank you for helping create a playground that will benefit Sanborn students for generations to come!

Please note: All funds raised for the playground are kept entirely separate from the Sanborn PTO’s general operating funds.
